CO-STAR – COVER (1958) From the “Co-Star – The Record Acting Game” series, this disc features George Raft performing his sides of scenes from the Film Noir classic They Drive By Night. Encouragements and simple instructions on the rear panel suggest “Anyone can play “CO-STAR”. Whether you’re eight or eighty, if you can read the enclosed script, you can play this wonderful new game that is already sweeping the country”.

Note: A portion of this record was sampled by the great Prince Paul for the track “In Your Mind (Altered States)”.

CO-STAR – SCRIPT BOOKLET (1958) The Co-Star series offered bedroom thespians a chance to dress in their favorite Goodwill finds and play opposite to the likes of Vincent Price in The Importance of Being Ernest, Tallulah Bankhead in Hedda Gabler and Paulette Godard in Peyton Place.  Many of the albums feature the performer offering acting tips on line readings, such as Ms. Bankhead, who made it all seem like good fun.
