SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND – INSERT (1967) (Artwork: Peter Blake) Pop artists, and husband and wife team, Jann Haworth and Peter Blake combined talents to create the memorable Sgt. Pepper’s album cover. Here, both receive credit for the insert, but primarily features Blake’s hand-designed artwork and the photography of Michael Cooper. The practicality of the mustache seems highly suspect, but these various cut-outs surely adorned everything from flair lapels to stash boxes to school lockers.
